Every piece that leaves our shop is built or selected with care and we want you to be happy with it. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns and exchanges work.

Stock Items

Ready made pieces from our regular inventory may be returned for a refund or exchange within the 30 day window, provided they meet the conditions below.

To be eligible, the item must:

• Be in its original, unused condition with no scratches, stains, or signs of wear

• Include all original packaging, hardware, and any accompanying documentation

• Be accomplished by your order number or proof of purchase

Custom and Made-to-order pieces

Because custom and made-to-order work is built specifically for you, these pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun. This includes commissioned furniture, personalized engravings, custom dimensions, and any item built to your specifications.

• An Exception : If a custom piece arrives damaged, defective, or doesn’t match the agreed upon specifications, we’ll make it right - See Damaged or Defective Items below.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or has a defect in workmanship, please refuse delivery and contact us withing 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage.

How to Start a Return

1. Email us at marc@hopeswoodshop.com with your order number and the reason for return.

2. We’ll reply with a return authorization and shipping instructions within two business days

3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address we provide.

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
